I will leave that for you to decide. I personally think this is the last great Bitcoin conference we have in our industry and we have to protect and cherish it. I truly believe that. This year Gary is expecting big numbers in attendance. He is also expecting some interesting people who might be showing up. Hmm wonder who they could be?

The first event of the week is kicking off Wednesday Night, headed up by the DTX Bitcoiners. They have been hosting some amazing meetups in Dallas & Fort Worth for Bitcoiners since February and from what I can gather they put on an amazing time with real Dallas BBQ. Sign up here.

BitBlockBoom in Dallas - Thursday August 26th, 2021
On Thursday at 11am it gets really good we have the Underground Citadel. Hosted by Plan B passport.
This will be starting at 12pm. If you are interested, well it is kind of difficult to attend at this point as there are no more RSVPs. Do not worry I didn't get picked either. It is all good Katie is sharing some valuable information to the Plebs. The only way for you to attend now is to find a pleb that trusts you and will bring you along.
Around 1:30pm Jeff Vandroux and Ben Westgate will be hosting Bitcoin & Barbells 2021 to discuss lifting technique, program design, and diet. Jeff will be teaching the deadlift, and Ben will be teaching the Overhead Press. It looks like the event tickets are completely sold out at this point.
Then to finish off Wednesday evening we have the official, The Welcome To BitBlockBoom Dinner hosted by Unchained Capital. This will be at a "true country honky tonk" from a great Mexican food buffet at one of the top restaurants in Dallas. There will be an open bar, unlimited bull riding, country western dancing and pool tables all while networking with Bitcoiners.

Next we have the, Making Sense of Lightning Workshop hosted by Guy Swann

This will be brief walk through the concept of lightning and how to imagine the network in order to get an idea of what is happening behind the scenes & to understand the security model of the Lightning script. Are you ready for an afternoon of gun and networking? Get ready for the official, Bit Block Shoot the first gun event at BitBlockBoom.
You can bring you own gun, your own 3-D gun, or rent one from the shop’s collection. New shooters can take a fundamentals course that will introduce you to basic gun handling and safety and will include time to shoot in the bays. Also a registered safety officer will be on the bays at all times. This event was limited to 60 people and it is completely sold out.

One of the most interesting satellite events happening this year is the Self-Sovereign Manufacturing: an introduction to start 3D printing.
This will be hosted by Maxwell Sikorshi, 3D printing is localized manufacturing. We have distributed money with Bitcoin, now we get an opportunity to learn how to be a distributed manufacturer with this introductory course to get started with 3D printing. Yes you get hands-on experience in drawing CAD and setting up your printer to start building that day. This will be really interesting and going to be one of the Fridays events I look forward to.

Phil Geiger will be hosting this event along with the rest of the Unchained Capital Team as they will be explaining why multi-signature makes you safer by eliminating single points of failure. You can actually get set up with an Unchained multi-signature vault with the Unchained Capital Vault Concierge Team and learn the differences between bitcoin single signature addresses and multi-signature addresses. No seriously come to the session with any combination of 2 Trezors, Coldcards, or Ledgers, cables to connect them to your computer, a MicroSD card and Card reader if you’re using Coldcards, to get set up. Next up we have turning the corner towards the end of the day is, Setting Up And Verifying a Casa multisig Wallet

Andrew will show us how a Casa multisig wallet gets created, then will learn how to verify everything Casa does using third party open source software. The demo will show the full process, so you can see the benefits Casa brings in UX and simplicity, while still being able to follow the Bitcoiner mantra “Don’t trust, verify.”

Finishing up the last workshop for the day is, Personal Servers and Self-Hosting
This will be demonstrating setting up an Embassy OS and using things like BTCPay, Bitwarden, and File Browser to reduce dependency on third parties. This is a how-to guide for digital self-sovereignty.
So this will be a can't miss event if you are into building out your self hosted server and learning more on what exactly Start9 labs are building. We are in the era of Sovereign Computing, so if this is something your into, this will be a cannot miss event.

SESSION 4 – 11:10 – Parker Lewis – Bitcoin in One Lesson
Parker is an amazing teacher of macroeconomics and he displayed this in the 2020 BitBlockBoom session, Gradually Then Suddenly. This was something that shined a light early on about the hyper-inflated US Dollar in a Post-Covid world. As a Fed hawk he clearly defined the decade ahead while integrating Zoolander memes and well defined explanations of why hyper-bitcoinization is inevitable. It was a beautiful crafted macroeconomics 101 lesson and something to this day I still recommend to no-coiners.
SESSION 5 – 11:45 – Mark Moss – 3 Revolution Cycles Show Us The Future
Mark has been putting out some interesting information about being a sovereign individual. He has a differentiating opinion than most bitcoiners in the space. So I am definitely curious to see what he has to say at his first BitBlockBoom this year.
SESSION 9 – 3:35 – American Hodl – The Bitcoin Mafia
You love him, you hate him, about the only thing you cannot deny is he funny as hell. I am looking forward to seeing what the Hodl brings at his first BitBlockBoom this year.
SESSION 10 – 4:10 – Stephan Livera – Bitcoining In An Unfree World
Everyone knows Stephan is the GOAT its not fair how great he is seriously few... This will be amazing because it is Stephan and he always comes prepared. So we can expect brilliance and a well thought out session at the very least. I will also be looking forward to saying hi as well. I am a big fan.
