Fear is an agent of chaos, and like many companies before, the resilient builders stay alive. As bitcoiners, we are all held to a higher standard in our culture, but we are also a resilient community of builders. SOF has been chronicling my journey since my baptism earlier this year and my yearning to be in the light during the darkest times.

If you are building a bitcoin startup right now, the last thing you want to do is fear this market. Fear is an agent of chaos, and like many companies that have come before, the resilient builders stay alive. As bitcoiners, we are all held to a higher standard in our culture. Yes, this is true. Most writers and artists during the great depression thought of themselves as members of a transatlantic avant-garde and as stylistic disciples of Pablo Picasso, James Joyce, or Igor Stravinsky. Very reminiscent of the 1920s, these times ahead are no different for bitcoiners.

👋 Hey look everyone is building the future together

It's become a cliche thing at this point to hear, but the bear market truly is for builders. Nonetheless, this week has been a great time to build, and our community should be hopeful for the excellent builders creating something special on lightning. Take a look at what Bolt.Fun is doing. They have amassed over 250 makers worldwide with over 64 projects in a couple of months. It is simply incredible, and it was a complete honor to kick off Legends of Lightning at PlebLab in October. Never count out the builders.

Look at the Adopting Bitcoin conference in El Salvador.  They brought an ecosystem - from protocol and application devs to entrepreneurs and investors to speak about what everyone was building. They have a full slate of programming up right now on their YouTube. All the profits were donated to initiatives furthering Bitcoin education in El Salvador.

Bitcoiners are a different breed. There's a unique and powerful ethos that drives us. The systems of the past worked for the builders and institutions of the past. Luckily we are at a point in history when we no longer have to cut corners. Instead, we can explore concepts and work out ideas until there is nothing left to discover. An innate drive to make things the best they can be. I have repeatedly seen that in bitcoin, and it's inspiring. Time is officially up, and it's time to unwind from past problems and create the future we see together on bitcoin. Let us build it together.

Fantastic time speaking at Austin Startup Week. So amazing seeing so many familiar faces I haven't seen in quite a while.
