It's been a long time coming but we finally have a lightning wallet that starts with privacy first.

It was clear than as it is now that with no need for court orders, banks can freeze personal accounts of anyone linked to any of those protests.
Even bitcoiners were attacked.
The Ontario Provincial Police and Royal Canadian Mounted Police ordered all regulated financial firms to cease facilitating any transactions from 34 crypto wallets tied to funding trucker-led protests in Canada.

Introducing Mutiny
Mutiny is the first private lightning wallet that focuses entirely on privacy first features. Mutiny utilizes pLN (the private lightning wallet) and offers privacy as the only option.
The architecture uses Sensei as a basis. It is both cross platform and self-hostable. Mutiny offers few features but preserves privacy at all cost.

In Mutiny a node is created for every channel. When a user request is made a new node is created with its own wallet address. When sending a open private channel with the whole UTXO amount is created to the receiver. In Mutiny wallet you can only send. No receiving.

Mutiny wallet is still being built but the promise for a privacy first lightning wallet is very important. If you would like to use Mutiny now. You would have to head over to the git to build from source, download the most recent source code and build it with cargo.
